Jenelle did her first official photoshoot! She’s been taking photos and dressing up since she was born because of my sister and mom, so she was a natural. It’s so crazy that this little munchkin is FOUR. Oh my, time flies…
What is it about Filipinos and immediately having a connection just because they are Filipino? I like to call it an “instant click.” You know… the one where you go to an event with new people everywhere, but you spot that one other Filipino there. Then, you hover towards them and just start talking… and click. You’re practically family.
I grew up never being exposed to Philippines media, so I never saw Filipinos on-screen. You’d expect that I’d see Filipino on-screen here in the states, with us supposedly being a melting pot of cultures, right? Wrong. I’ve grown up in America all my life never seeing someone like me represented on TV, billboards, magazines, or any other media for that matter.
Did you know all businesses in the Philippines are closed during Holy Week?
Welcome to my first ever Q&A video! I thought it would be fun to have a play on words and combine “Rach” with “chisme” to make RACHisme 😋 I had a lot of fun making this video and I hope you enjoy watching it too. I appreciate everyone mentioned in this video who sent in questions that I could answer. I wouldn’t have made this video if it weren’t for you all 💕 If you want to ask questions for the next Q&A video, just tweet me @RachelBulosan and hashtag #RACHisme. Happy First Day of Spring fam! And may this season bring you good fortune, good vibes, and good people into your life 🌷
Finally doing a what’s in my bag video again, but this time in “Filipino Edition”! I’m very sorry in advance for the cringe Tagalog… I made my boyfriend Mark watch this and help me translate — and he’s fluent in Tagalog. Unfortunately, there were many parts he didn’t understand ? I hope you enjoy this video anyway! I had fun cleaning out my bag while sharing what’s in it. Celebratory Sidenote: we reached 3,000 subscribers last Wednesday, March 15th!!!!!
Ya girl, Rachel Bulosan, is back! This video is longer than my usual videos because it’s a simple sit-down, chit-chat type of video while I do my makeup. — If you want to see the entire list of makeup used in this video, read below.
Kinikilig na ako! Do you know what “kilig” is?? Even I can’t officially define it, but the Oxford Dictionary tried. We made it filipino fam, another filipino word (aside from “boondocks”) has been added to an English speak-ening dictionary!
