Research Methods in Rhetoric and Composition

When I registered for this class last year, I was already overwhelmed by the fact that it’s a graduate level class and by the course title (“Research Methods in Rhetoric and Composition”)… I was blessed to have gone through it all with these two by my side. This is a picture of us in our element: papers everywhere, laptops constantly open for research, and snacks (can’t forget the snacks). We survived 🙏🏽😭


A Transfer Student’s First Day

The first day of school always feels like Disneyland, except for the little fact that – instead of waiting to meet Mickey and eat clam chowder bowls, we wait in lines for parking passes, books, and information booths. Yay, so fun. This morning, I went to school three hours before my first class. One hour for the drive, thirty-minutes to obtain my pain-in-the-arse parking pass (because I procrastinated this year and bought it just two days ago), and one hour for the walk from the parking lot to class.
