It took a very steep uphill car ride to get to this view, but it was so worth it. Kerry Park is hidden in a neighborhood that reminded me of San Francisco and Beverly Hills combined — except for the mere fact that this place is infinitely better because the parking was free.
Luckily, it was not raining when Shannon and I visited the park. I’m sure it would have been a completely different experience.
Tip for Kerry Park: Take in the view as far away from the crowd as possible. Most people go to the middle to take photos in front of the skyline, but we went to the far left where there weren’t as many people. Doing this is much more peaceful and much less stressing when you have other tourists waiting for you to move so they can get their photo-op.
Seattle, home of coffee, rain, earth-conscious people, and hidden cozy spots.
I would move here if the opportunity opened up.
Back at it with Shannon! If you don’t know who this is, you should because she’s my ultimate travel buddy 💛 Since we met in 2013, we’ve bonded over our love for traveling. Every year since then, we plan a trip together (whether it’s here in the states) or afar.

These are our sad faces because it is our last day in the beautiful northwest. We fly out soon!

Peace out Seattle! It’s always a pleasure to be one with you.
