Mark and I are Disney fanatics. It’s only right to celebrate our important day with a theme we absolutely love: a Disney theme!
Welcome to the RACHEYandMARK Wedding Details Blog Series — an almost-daily compilation of blogs that will lead up to our wedding day! Whenever I get the chance, from now until our wedding day, I’ll be writing about a wedding detail and talking about the significance behind it. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy sharing 💙
My Wedding Invitation has a Disneyland Castle
One of my wonderful bridesmaids named Shine used her graphic design skills to help with our wedding invitations! She drew the Disneyland castle on it, and I went super cheeseball with the quote, “Once in a while (right in the middle of an ordinary life) love gives us a fairytale.” I’m very happy with how the invitation turned out, it definitely represents who Mark and I are as a couple in all it’s simplicity, and Disney-ness.
My Mickey Mouse Engagement Ring
It’s funny that only a few months ago I wrote a blog post about Why I Don’t Need An Engagement Ring. My first reason was because “I don’t wear rings.” But now I retract my statement because I am so in looooooove with this Disney ring that Mark custom-made for me.
Our Photobooth Layout is Disney
The photobooth layout shown above is meant to look like my Mickey ears are leaning on Mark’s Mickey ears as we romantically look at the Disneyland castle.

Disney Ceremony Music Playlist
When Mark walks down the aisle, he’ll be walking down to an instrumental of “Happily Married” from the movie Up! In between, we’ll have the instrumental of “I See the Light” from Tangled because it is mine and Mark’s favorite movie. Then, I’ll be walking down the aisle to “Tale As Old As Time” from Beauty and the Beast.
We’re going to find more ways to incorporate our Disney theme, and I’ll definitely share the details as they come. Let’s have a Disney Wedding!
your very excited bride-to-be,
